The Mural Maze at Suwannee Hulaween
What started out in 2013 as 20 8x4 panels (640 sq feet) is now a unique collection of over 200 panels (6400 sq ft) of visionary art, displayed in a variety of ways. The intention of this project is to continue building upon this collection while creating an installation that is interactive, captivating, and educational, using old and new panels. We build, paint, and seal them each year, before taking it down to be stored on site. The festival provides a portion of our funding and we rely on sponsors and donors for the rest.
Each year, artists that share the same intentions to influence people in a positive way through art combine their different skill sets to create large scale murals. We have an amazing oppurtunity to speak to thousands of people for an entire weekend through this project and we are committed to using this oppurtunity to say something positive and meaningful.
